Powerforce are, once again, delighted to be recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ by Great Place to Work.  This year Powerforce has rocketed up the rankings and in to the top 20, placing 18th out of all Medium Workplaces (51-250 employees).  This is a record result and a jump of 22 places since 2019.

We are really proud of this recognition which follows the recent news of Powerforce again being recognised as a Centre for Excellence in Wellbeing™.

Globally, the Best Workplace™ survey is the largest survey of workplace cultures and people practices.  The methodology that creates the Best Workplaces™ rankings is one of the most rigorous and highly sought after – and regarded as the ‘gold standard’ of employer awards.  The methodology is also unique: no other survey assesses both the employee experience (through the Trust Index© employee survey) and the HR and leadership practices that create the organisation’s workplace culture (through the Culture Audit©).  The Trust Index Survey accounts for ¾ of the final result and the survey is both voluntary and anonymous.

As a business we’re proud to represent a number of fantastic manufacturers but ultimately our product is our people and we work hard to ensure that we have a great culture and that are people are engaged to go the extra mile for our customers.

Nicky Sanderson, Managing Director at Powerforce, said:

2020 heralds a record result in terms of our ranking and we are delighted to enter the top 20.  As with all years, we challenge ourselves to continuously improve our workplace culture and employee engagement and the past year has been no different.  It’s important that we listen to our people and focus on the things that are important to them.  We’ve rebuilt our values and behaviours from the bottom up so that everyone can help to shape the organisation that we are.  We’ve also moved in to brand new offices to improve the workplace environment.

These are just some of the areas we’ve acted on as part of our feedback from our people and we will continue to listen and adapt to push our culture forward.
